Skipper counts page views to understand which public sections are useful. You can turn these basic statistics off.
What is counted
The analytics payload contains only the page section (landing, blog, or features) and language. It does not include page URLs, referrers, clicks, engagement, performance data, or identifiers. Network delivery necessarily includes an IP address and browser transport details, but we do not retain them in the statistics. The server combines counts into five-minute totals, and aggregate reports are kept in a dedicated Google Cloud log bucket for 400 days. We do not use analytics cookies or create visitor profiles. Necessary preferences, page delivery, and security continue either way. Counts are approximate.
